Taking a surf trip to Mexico with a couple buddies wasn't the farthest thing from my mind, but it wasn't top of mind either, until now. This sweet and salty collaboration between The Critical Slide Society and Thomas Surfboards embodies that loose nature and relaxed spirit of the surfing lifestyle. You know, that "don't take surfing too seriously and have fun sharing waves with friends" attitude. Now, let's roll this inspiration into planning that next trip.
Adrenaline Summer Video
One of key ingredients in the rebranding of Adrenaline, a lifestyle lacrosse apparel company, was to create a summer video. The goal was simple - go heavy on west coast lifestyle and light on the sport. We chose San Elijo Campground in Cardiff and easily got everyone behind the idea of camping out for two days, shooting video and photos of the lacrosse players with friends - basically capturing an authentic good time.
We hired Tim of Tar Productions to shoot and produce the video. Other than the ending time-lapse section, everything was shot in Super 8 film. Type G handled the concepting and location scout, art direction, and the hiring of video talent. //photos: Jessie
